This policy explains how Telani Grobler, trading as TRIFIT Performance Endurance ("TRIFIT", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit this website, submit an enquiry, respond to one of our Facebook or Instagram adverts, or communicate with us.
1. Who is responsible for your information?
TRIFIT Performance Endurance is based in South Africa and is the responsible party for personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Privacy enquiries may be sent to telani@trifit.co.za.
2. Information we collect
When you send an enquiry through this website, WhatsApp, email or a Facebook or Instagram lead form, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, your sport, goal or event, current training, and the coaching option you are interested in. We may also receive ordinary technical information needed to operate and protect the website.
3. Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and recommend a suitable coaching option.
- To contact you using the details you provided.
- To prepare onboarding if you decide to start coaching.
- To operate and secure the website and our advertising.
- To meet legal and accounting responsibilities.
Sending an enquiry does not create a coaching relationship. If you become an athlete, the athlete questionnaire and coaching agreement govern any further information.
4. Consent
We process enquiry information with your consent and to take steps you asked for before a coaching agreement. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
5. Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the website and deliver coaching, which may include ChatGPT Sites/OpenAI (website hosting), Meta (Facebook and Instagram lead forms), Google (spreadsheets used to manage enquiries), WhatsApp, TrainingPeaks and PayFast. Some of these providers may process information outside South Africa. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information.
6. Retention
Enquiry information is generally kept for up to 12 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner, coaching begins, or the law requires us to keep it longer.
7. Your rights
You may ask us whether we hold your information and request access, correction or deletion, or object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
8. Children
This website and our enquiry forms are intended for adults. A parent or legal guardian should contact us before sharing information about an athlete under 18.
